[Forbidden Books] Should Lord of the Flies Succumb to Civilization?

    It is time for our second and final Action Project in our Humanities class, Forbidden Books. In the past month or so, we have been doing a deep dive into books that have been banned and why they were banned. We looked at the Comic Book Code and analyzed it. We then debated whether or not it was fair. After that, we each had to choose a book that has been banned or challenged. I chose Lord of the Flies by William Golding. We then did a book report and presented it to the class. Finally, we were tasked with writing an argumentative essay about whether or not we believe our book should be banned. Here it is!
